A. The practice of arranging to have your vehicles driven by professionals not employed by you, but acting as if they were. It is a specialized form of Contract Labor. Q. We're not in the trucking business. Why should we consider leasing professional drivers? A. All the more reason. Driver leasing companies are professionals in managing transportation personnel. Why not leave that to specialists. Q. How big do I have to be to make it worth while? A. Even if you operate only 1 pick-up truck, or even a passenger vehicle used to transport executives, you can benefit from Driver Leasing. Q. Our firm hires its own drivers. Why should we change? A. American Driver Leasing's personnel staff are specialists in hiring professional drivers. We know all the methods undesirables use to pass pre-employment screening tests. We hire only top qualified drivers. Plus, we provide replacement drivers for both scheduled vacation periods and unforeseen absences. |

How can it save me money?
A. There are many ways of improving the cost effectiveness of operating a business. One of the least understood, is the value of having outside experts provide services that neither you nor your personnel are experienced in. Your time may be better spent managing those areas where you specialize. Q. Will leasing drivers solve our paperwork problems? A. Absolutely. All employee reports required, in addition to unemployment insurance and workers' compensation claims, are completely handled by us. Q. What happens when a driver files an unemployment or workers' compensation claim? A. Any such claims are filed against us alone and are handled by our insurance carriers and counsel. Q. What about labor relation problems? A. Because the drivers are employed by us, not you, you are relieved of all involvement in labor matters, including the administering of discipline. Any costs incurred in handling such matters are absorbed by us. |
